Lead Software Engineer - Employee Platforms

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• We need hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We require strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• We need experience with automation and continuous delivery methods.
• We require a solid command of the full software development life cycle.
• We value advanced knowledge of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We need demonstrated capability with software applications and technical processes in a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
• We require in-depth understanding of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
• We need practical cloud-native experience.
• Preferred: experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
• Preferred: strong background in production support and operational management.
• Preferred: experience leading application modernization initiatives.

• We create innovative software solutions, carry out design and development work, and troubleshoot technical issues with an approach that goes beyond routine methods.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We drive adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed of delivery, and operational outcomes while maintaining validation standards and encouraging reuse of effective patterns.
• We identify opportunities to remove or automate the resolution of recurring issues to strengthen application and system stability.
• We lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architecture, technical credentials, and fit within our existing systems and information architecture.
• We lead communities of practice across software engineering to raise awareness and adoption of new and leading-edge technologies.
