Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that prioritize their unique goals and needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing and coping skills.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans and approaches based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other specialists to provide comprehensive care that integrates mental and physical health resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records that comply with all legal and ethical standards.

• Attend case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to enhance your skills and therapeutic techniques.

• Advocate for clients, challenging societal stigmas related to mental health and ensuring their voices and narratives are heard and respected.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, there will be opportunities to support specific populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
