Role Description The Social Media Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in San Diego, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing social media content across multiple platforms to support client campaigns and brand initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include writing and editing posts, sourcing or creating visual assets, scheduling content, and monitoring community engagement such as comments and messages. The Social Media Coordinator will track performance metrics, prepare basic reports, and collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize strategies and maintain consistent brand voices. This role also involves staying current with platform trends, recommending new content ideas, and supporting the coordination of social media calendars for diverse client industries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing for brands or agencies.

• Strong Communication and Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and industries.

• Foundational experience in Digital Marketing, including familiarity with social analytics and basic campaign performance tracking.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple social media accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Comfort working in a hybrid setting in San Diego, CA, collaborating in person and remotely with a distributed team.
\n
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later) and basic design tools (e.g., Canva) is beneficial.

• Previous experience in an agency or multi-client environment and knowledge of industries such as hospitality, retail, or professional services is a plus.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

SALARY: 45-55K based on experience.
