Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Palm Tree Kids & Parenthood PC, you will:

• Conduct initial assessments to understand client needs and create tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions, engaging patients in therapeutic techniques that improve communication and resolve conflicts.

• Address a variety of issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, emotional disorders, grief and loss, family conflicts, adjustment difficulties, and relationship issues.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and interventions in therapy sessions to promote positive outcomes.
\n
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes consistently within our electronic health records system, adhering to compliance standards.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings to support clinical excellence and enhance treatment offerings.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and persistently support the overall well-being of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role emphasizes working with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults. You will have the opportunity to address the complexities of family dynamics and individual challenges. Common issues addressed include: depression, anxiety, grief, communication difficulties, and behavioral problems, particularly related to blended families and divorce scenarios. Your expertise will guide families and individuals toward understanding and healing.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
