Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at facilitating patient recovery:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of residents to evaluate their strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans that aim to restore mobility, alleviate pain, and promote functional independence.
• Administer hands-on therapy sessions, delivering therapeutic exercises, balance training, and mobility interventions tailored to each patient's condition.
• Educate residents and their families on best practices for safe mobility, including home exercise programs that extend rehabilitation beyond our facility.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with facility regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The residents we serve primarily include older adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, or debilitating conditions who require rehabilitation and support to regain their functionality. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, in good standing.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
