Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Elite Providence Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from various injuries, illnesses, or surgeries to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques such as exercise, stretching, hands-on therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress meticulously, ensuring that all treatments and responses are recorded accurately in our electronic health record system.
• Regularly reassessing therapeutic goals and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Providing guidance and recommendations for assistive devices that enhance patients' abilities to perform self-care and increase their mobility.
• Educating patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation techniques and assistive modalities, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
• Maintaining your professional development by attending workshops, reviewing relevant professional literature, and participating in specialized training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to elderly individuals, each with unique rehabilitation needs. You will have the chance to treat patients with varying diagnoses including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. By delivering personalized therapy solutions, you will significantly impact their recovery trajectories and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Competency in using computer systems for documentation and treatment planning.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, demonstrating agility in adjusting therapeutic strategies as needed.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with a minimum of two years' experience in a physical therapy role will be highly regarded. Experience in rehabilitation settings, particularly with diverse and complex patient populations, will be an added advantage.
