National Account Manager - Petsmart

: Title: National Account Manager - Petsmart Location: Western U.S. (with a preference for those in or near Phoenix, AZ) Compana Pet Brands is a global leader in pet care and nutrition dedicated to enriching the lives of pets and their families today and for generations to come. We are actively seeking a National Account Manager to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love! This role's primary responsibility will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with PetSmart while ensuring revenue/profit plans are secured. As a Critical Customer Manager, you must be able to analyze performance metrics in order to develop and execute strategies to achieve annual business goals. As our National Account Manager, you'll make an impact by:

• Leading the development and execution of item level forecasting system for Compana Pet Brands (CPB) - PetSmart business.
• Supporting the development of specific account strategies and annual operating plans that deliver CPB budget and Omni distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Price expectations at the category level.
• Supporting the execution of Innovation and annual Line Reviews at the category level for Pet & Sporting Goods.
• Interacting with customer personnel to drive the execution of the customer category plan, building strong relationships at the Merchant/Buyer level.
• Owning P&L responsibility for business across the account by managing all account P&L levers including List price, sales allowances, rebates, markdowns, trade marketing spend and other customer investments (i.e., Retail Media, Customer Data) at the category level.
• Participating in the monthly Customer Business Reviews with CPB leadership highlighting risks and opportunities to annual operating plan and customer Joint Business Plans (JBP).

Participating in the monthly SIOP Demand Review as a key step of the CPB S&OP process What you need to succeed:

• Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5 years' experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) within Marketing, Business Development, or Sales.
• Strong cross-functional expertise in operational disciplines such as providing a monthly sales forecast and end-to-end supply planning with the customer.
• Strong understanding of customer distribution networks and customer-related metrics (i.e., Fill Rate, On-Time, Vendor Lead time, In-Stocks).
• 5 years CPG/Pet Specialty sales experience preferred
