Work Environment This position offers a flexible remote work setting, enabling counselors to provide care from home while accessing our robust outpatient office resources as needed. This model not only accommodates the diverse scheduling requirements of our clients but also ensures a balanced work-life integration for our staff. The position is full-time, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, typically from 9 AM to 4 PM, allowing for some flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices, allowing for the creation of tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. Implement various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring that interventions are both practical and effective. Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory mandates, to safeguard patient information and uphold our commitment to ethical standards. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health specialists during case consultations and peer review meetings to elevate the overall quality of care. Engage clients and their families in educational sessions to equip them with information on mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and community resources. Stay informed on the latest research and therapeutic techniques in the mental health field to continually refine your clinical skills. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on serving a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing acute and chronic mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and more. As a therapist, you will be pivotal in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, offering compassionate support and evidence-based interventions tailored to their distinctive circumstances. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and the ability to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to each client’s specific challenges and goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and the treatment team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to navigate complex patient situations effectively. Preferred Experience Previous experience working with a wide range of mental health issues in outpatient environments is preferred. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and an openness to integrating new techniques into practice. Experience in a collaborative clinical setting, contributing to case reviews and team discussions.
