Intermediate Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an Intermediate Machine Operator who will work hands-on in running, loading, and eventually managing machines after a comprehensive training period. This role involves operating machinery in a food manufacturing environment, producing products such as spices and teas.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage machines in a food manufacturing setting.
• Load and run machines efficiently after completing the training period.
• Troubleshoot and set up machines, beyond just pressing buttons. must have some mechanical aptitude.
• Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE like hairnets and beard nets.
• Avoid wearing any jewelry, including facial piercings, nose rings, earrings, and watches.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation and food manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and set up machinery.
• Proficiency in production processes and machine management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the food manufacturing sector is a significant plus.

This is a Permanent position based out of Independence, MO.

The pay range for this position is $46800.00 - $49400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Independence,MO.

This position is anticipated to close on Aug 28, 2026.
