Our passionate Kitchen Managers use a growth mindset to develop menus, planning, and team work to better our school, and create nutritional meals for all the children. Role Responsibilities: Create a welcoming, clean, and organized kitchen space. Use a growth mindset to develop menus, complete paperwork, and help when needed. We are looking for a team player. We want someone who will help staff as it comes to kitchen duties and build bonds. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can eat nutritional meals. Communicate clearly, thoroughly, and respectfully to all staff and co-workers on the admin team. Support your centers success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement. Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where the day-to-day kitchen responsibilities can happen seamlessly. Qualifications: At least 6 months of professional Kitchen experience preferred. High School Diploma/GED required. Higher education/College Classes preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety Texas Guidelines. Must meet state specific guidelines for the role. Food Handlers preferred.
