Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year end close, including financial statements and reporting packages
• Assist with audit prep, gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests
• Partner with internal teams on financial analysis, reporting, and special projects
• Worked with external tax advisors to provide supporting schedules and data for filings
• Review and analyze balance sheet accounts to resolve discrepancies
• Support year end reporting requirements, including data compilation for regulatory and internal needs
• Manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Qualifications

• -Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

CPA certification or CPA track preferred

• Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience or strong background in real estate, property accounting, or investment environments
• Experience in healthcare real estate, REITs, or commercial real estate strongly preferred
• -Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting systems preferred

• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast paced environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work both independently and cross functionally
