Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting findings meticulously from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of their treatment.

• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans for clients across various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to meet clients' needs.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress according to their treatment plans, ensuring necessary adjustments are made to support optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other mental health professionals to create effective intervention strategies.

• Provide crucial follow-ups for clients transitioning into inpatient care, ensuring continuity of treatment.

• Assist clients and their families in understanding mental health issues and promoting strategies that foster recovery and resilience.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and work proactively to address these challenges with evidence-based strategies and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Prime Stable, you will work with a diverse clientele that may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. By employing a client-centered approach, you will foster a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients can express themselves freely and work towards their goals.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, ideally in an outpatient setting.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in addressing both physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of the effects and interactions of psychotropic medications commonly prescribed by medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with a potential sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
