Vice President

Lead the business development efforts for assigned business line.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing overall business development efforts
• Developing relationships with government agencies
• Creating business development objectives and strategies
• Planning for future development and growth
• Exploring teaming agreements and joint ventures
• Conducting long-range planning for new business targets
• Maintaining a list of business development contacts
• Ensuring effective operation of the proposal office
• Developing proposal strategies and themes
• Maintaining a database on competitors and potential partners
• Tracking and reporting on business opportunities
• Representing the organization in various relationships
• Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred); 15 years of progressive business development experience and a proven track record with sales to Federal Government agencies. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Position requires a thorough understanding of government contracting/customers and the proposal process. Must be articulate with executive presence, creative and forward-looking, clear thinker and decision-maker, change agent and have a proven track record of continuous business development activities. Position requires travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, consistent sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communications, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Compensation Details: $250,000-$290,000
