Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant supports daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end and payroll activities.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a background in accounting and is currently pursuing or has completed a related degree (preferred)
• Brings 12 years of accounting experience or equivalent academic coursework
• Is proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Has advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
• Has working knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax compliance (ADP preferred)
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Is eager to learn and support manufacturing and logistics costing

What you'll do:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Audit vendor invoices and track expenses for logistics partners
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
• Prepare and issue client invoices, track payment progress, and resolve discrepancies
• Apply payments to open invoices and monitor receivables
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams via phone and email
• Support payroll processing and reporting, preferably using ADP
• Assist with logistics and manufacturing cost analysis
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform quality checks to ensure data integrity
