Job Title: Senior Vendor Operations & Finance Specialist

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Vendor Operations & Finance Specialist to join our Global Data Operations team. This role is a critical link between our internal data collection platforms and our external vendor partners. You will be responsible for the end-to-end operational support of our invoicing lifecycle, ensuring that high-volume data collection and platform services are accurately tracked, validated, and processed. This is a "process-heavy" role that requires a mix of financial acumen, rigorous data validation, and professional cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities
• Invoicing & Data Validation: Audit and validate complex vendor invoices against active Purchase Orders (POs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure 100% billing accuracy.
• Financial Operations: Manage the requisition process for data collection, vendor platforms, and operational needs. Track all financial movements using advanced Excel models and internal tracking systems.
• Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and various global vendor partners to resolve billing discrepancies and streamline platform delivery.
• Metrics & Process Improvement: Perform ongoing analysis of financial metrics to identify bottlenecks. Propose and implement continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Management: Participate in regular strategic review meetings with internal leadership to report on work volume, vendor performance, and budget health.
• Workflow Prioritization: Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, adapting to shifting priorities based on platform needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
• Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in Finance Operations, Vendor Management, or Procurement.
• Technical Mastery:
• Advanced Excel: Must be proficient in handling large datasets, pivot tables, and complex formulas for tracking and reconciliation.
• Finance Fundamentals: Strong understanding of basic finance principles (Requisitions, POs, SOWs, and accruals).
• Communication: Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, with a focus on professional email etiquette and vendor negotiation.
• Attributes: High numerical accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
