Key Responsibilities

• Engage in peer-to-peer consultations with other therapists, particularly when discrepancies arise concerning patient care plans in alignment with clinical guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with all personnel policies and procedures, ensuring consistent and effective operation within the facility.
• Conduct thorough clinical reviews of requests for physical therapy services, ensuring all necessary clinical information is accurately evaluated, including diagnoses, assessments, and progress notes.
• Assess the medical necessity of prescribed treatments and determine the appropriateness of the Plan of Care, adhering to nationally recognized clinical guidelines and utilization management protocols.
• Create detailed documentation of clinical decisions, including reports identifying opportunities for provider education based on observed trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population comprises individuals facing challenges ranging from physical impairments due to accidents or surgeries to cognitive and psychosocial dysfunctions. You will work closely with patients across various demographics, including children and adults, requiring a comprehensive understanding of different therapeutic approaches and interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and conditioning modalities.
• Capability to provide care in both outpatient and acute settings.
• Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred.
• Comfort working in clinic and hospital environments with a focus on inpatient care.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient therapy settings and acute care.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ability to engage effectively with a varied patient demographic, particularly in pediatric physical therapy cases.

Compensation and Benefits
