Customer Service Representative

Akkodis is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a Contract job with a client in Carson, CA . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in order processing, customer support, and ERP systems, along with the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.

Rate Range: $20/hour to $23/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Customer Service Representative job responsibilities include:

• Process and validate customer sales orders accurately and in a timely manner using ERP systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining ongoing communication regarding order status and updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, finance, production, shipping) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery .
• Maintain and track purchase orders and order entry logs to ensure visibility across departments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and provide updates to relevant teams on past due accounts.
• Handle and escalate customer issues and complaints to management when necessary.
• Support customer relationship development through proactive communication and coordination.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred .
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service, data entry, or order coordination roles .
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) .
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills .
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment .
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with a high degree of adaptability.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
