Business Development Specialist

Position Summary The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving strategic growth by developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, physicians, hospitals, payers, employers, and community organizations. This role identifies new business opportunities, increases market share, and supports the organization’s mission by expanding patient access and service utilization while maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Public Health, or related field required. Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related field) preferred. OR Experience 3‑5 years of healthcare business development, sales, or marketing experience required. Experience with physician relations and healthcare referral development preferred. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, managed care, and payer relationships. Experience in hospitals, rehabilitation, behavioral health, home health, hospice, or post-acute care preferred. Preferred Certifications Certified Medical Representative (CMR) (preferred) Healthcare Marketing certification (preferred) Membership in organizations such as the Healthcare Marketing & Physician Strategies Summit or the American College of Healthcare Executives is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
