In this position, you will serve as a Program Analyst for the FEMA/Resilience, National Preparedness Directorate, National Disaster and Emergency Management University. Typical assignments include:
- Serve as a Liaison by advising staff and managers on administrative and human resources-related functions, developing process improvements, and coordinating cross-functional administrative activities to support organizational requirements.
- Conduct studies and analyses of program operations to identify issues, evaluate process effectiveness, and recommend improvements that support program performance and mission requirements.
- Prepare management reports, briefing materials, and analytical summaries; interpret administrative policies and procedures; and collaborate with managers to improve HR, budget, and related administrative services.
- Provide guidance and advisory support to programs and offices on human resources matters, including recruitment and placement, position classification, and performance management requirements for executive personnel.
- Coordinate with leadership, program offices, and servicing HR organizations to track, communicate, and resolve HR-related actions, ensuring timely support for workforce planning and organizational needs.
