Quality Services Moving is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our employees and daily operations by ensuring payroll is processed accurately, HR records remain compliant, and administrative processes run smoothly.

What You'll Do
Payroll Administration
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Review, verify, and enter employee time records
- Audit payroll data and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation
- Assist employees with payroll-related questions
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures
- Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
Human Resources Administration
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and motor vehicle reports
- Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation
- Process employment verifications and unemployment claims
- Support employee benefit administration and enrollment activities
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative HR support
- Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in payroll, human resources, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to our office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks, Paycom, ADP, or similar payroll systems
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and employment compliance requirements
- Experience maintaining employee records and personnel files
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus
