Food Runner

We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth operation of our restaurant by delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner.

Duties

• Delivering food orders promptly to customers while ensuring accuracy and presentation
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared timely and accurately
• Assisting in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Communicating effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery
• Following food safety standards and procedures at all times

Experience

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
• Familiarity with food handling and basic kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly & un-assisted
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to safely climb ladders
• The ability to work in cold temperatures
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing
