In this onsite position, your expertise will play a vital role in assessing student needs, developing thoughtful intervention plans, and guiding the overall mental health and well-being initiatives across school communities.

Essential Qualifications:

• Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or a willingness to quickly obtain Michigan licensure prior to starting
• Background working in educational settings preferred
• Proficiency in psychological assessment, intervention strategies, and supporting student development
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Collaborative, team-focused mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and create tailored intervention strategies
• Collaborate closely with teachers and families to promote each student’s success and well-being
• Take on a well-rounded role beyond testing, providing direct consultation, crisis intervention, and support for school-wide initiatives
• Serve 1–2 buildings, as part of a dynamic team of three School Psychologists covering five schools across the district
• Deliver services onsite, building strong partnerships and presence within the school community
