Job Summary Trane in Tallahassee, FL is hiring an Energy Services Project Manager. The Energy Services Project Manager is responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. They lead the project team through all facets of the project and are the established point of contact for stakeholders. The Energy Services Project Manager manages a portfolio of projects that could contain both smaller and larger multi‑building or complex construction projects. The Energy Services Project Manager is knowledgeable on current job market and pricing strategies and has the ability to support sales functions with developing scope. What you will do Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates Lead all aspects of project administration including responsibility for knowledge of and adherence to contract penalty clauses and / or liquidated damages, analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies and providing guidance on corrective actions, managing projects to business compliance, project documentation, safety guidelines, and navigating governing agency requirements including the state, city, county, federal and local levels Financially manage all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, applied cost, and oversee preparation and communications for monthly backlog review with leaders Validate project scope, cost, schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings and establishing customer expectations, and identify risks and developing mitigation plans Utilize properly qualified subcontractors, oversee subcontractor RFQ process, award subcontracts, manage subcontractor execution, and collaborate with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, project meetings, billing expectations and project safety Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, milestones What you will bring Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management degree preferred 3‑5 years' experience with project schedules / PM construction software Extensive financial analysis experience, including cost segregation, margin analysis, earned value management (EVM), or similar project‑based financial methodologies Strong financial project management ability with enough technical or construction knowledge to manage scope, schedule, and risk Prior experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless / careless driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range $77,963.33 - $126,200.00 Compensation Type Yes Sales Commission Eligible No Thrive at work and at home Benefits kick in on DAY ONE for you and your family, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs that include generous incentives Family building benefits include fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance 401(k) match up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to 8% company contribution Paid time off includes 15 vacation days, 9 paid holidays, 3 floating holidays, sick leave, and additional options to support volunteer and parental leave Educational and training opportunities through company programs along with tuition assistance and student debt support Disclaimer Benefit offerings may vary depending on Collective Bargaining Agreements and local/state regulations.
