Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at People's Talk, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clients’ goals.

• Providing telehealth therapy sessions, whether individual or group-based, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
\n
• Facilitating regularly scheduled group sessions, ensuring a structured environment for shared learning and support.
\n
• Engaging in case discussions with other clinicians to exchange ideas and enhance therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Documenting patient progress meticulously and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

• Keeping abreast of industry best practices and emerging therapeutic techniques through continuous education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will serve a diverse array of clients, primarily focusing on adolescents and young adults. These individuals often encounter various mental health obstacles, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma histories, substance use issues, and more. Each clinician at People's Talk is uniquely positioned to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships, with a maximum of eight clients in group settings to ensure personalized attention and in-depth exploration of each client’s needs.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• A valid independent license, such as LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT.
\n
• Availability to work a minimum of 12 hours up to 40 hours per week, based on employment type (1099 or W2).
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to enhancing clients' mental health.

Preferred Experience\n
