Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which is designed to facilitate optimal healing and recovery. You will be working a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring work-life balance and support for your personal commitments. Our center features a warm, supportive atmosphere that encourages both patient engagement and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, limitations, and needs in order to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific recovery goals.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on therapy techniques, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs, fostering patient independence and empowerment in their healing journey.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and outcomes using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to track improvements and refine treatment plans as necessary.
• Stay informed on latest advancements in physical therapy practices and incorporate new strategies into your approach for continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation cases to chronic pain management and elderly care. Our center emphasizes a holistic approach, providing individualized care that caters to the unique needs of each patient, whether they are recovering from an injury or managing a long-term condition.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of physical therapy practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
• Experience in pediatrics or acute care is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
