Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster client growth and recovery.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their changing needs and responses.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide a coordinated approach to care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continually refine your therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with various mood disorders, including those from underserved communities. Our clients include homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, all of whom present unique challenges and opportunities for meaningful intervention. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
