Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be performed remotely through our innovative telehealth platform, providing flexibility and allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes. Our telehealth facility facilitates seamless communication and care, fostering a supportive and engaging therapeutic relationship. Regular working hours will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing essential services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, evaluating their specific care needs and creating tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional challenges faced by seniors, such as depression, anxiety, and coping with loss.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for geriatric clients, enhancing their overall treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on older adults who may be dealing with a range of mental health conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, seniors experiencing grief due to loss, those adjusting to significant life changes such as moving to assisted living, and individuals facing age-related mental health concerns. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals optimize their emotional health and adjust positively to the aging process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current LMHC license is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in geriatric counseling or mental health support, ideally within a telehealth framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n
