Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions within a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses in accordance with physician orders.
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical records following regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in managing patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD, trauma, respiratory failure, and post-operative recovery.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience preferred.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in electronic medical records software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
