Document Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $23 – $25 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Specialist to support manufacturing and quality operations by developing process documentation, maintaining ISO records, and ensuring compliance across production processes.
This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate documentation and supporting quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop clear processing instructions for manufacturing workflows
Review and update ISO documents and SOPs
Maintain documentation accuracy within quality systems
Assist with incoming raw material inspections
Document inspection results according to quality protocols
Support internal audits and compliance reviews
Assist laboratory operations with documentation tasks
Coordinate documentation updates across departments
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
5 years experience preferred in documentation control, quality assurance, or a similar role
Experience with document management systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience supporting audits or regulatory documentation
Manufacturing or laboratory environment experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable working in varying noise levels
Ability to work in an environment where chemicals are manufactured
