Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled HCM Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant to support a critical payroll initiative within a large enterprise environment. This role requires strong functional expertise in payroll processes, system configuration, and end-to-end HCM implementations. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Cloud payroll functional activities within HCM implementations or enhancements
• Gather, analyze, and document payroll-related business requirements
• Configure and support payroll modules within HCM systems
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and third-party vendors
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend scalable solutions
• Support testing efforts including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues
• Assist with data migration, validation, and payroll parallel runs
• Provide post-go-live support and system stabilization

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes (earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, etc.)
• Experience supporting payroll implementations or transformations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. multi-state payroll
• Prior experience in enterprise-level environments
• Familiarity with payroll integrations and finance systems
• Oracle HCM platform certifications (preferred but not required)
