Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through interviews and standardized evaluation tools.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address specific client needs and goals.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing evidence-based cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic therapy as appropriate.

• Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities to support clients in overcoming challenges related to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and more.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using our EHR system.

• Act as a liaison between clients and external resources, facilitating referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews to contribute to a holistic client care strategy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele comprising individuals dealing with a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related challenges, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
