Senior Payroll TechnicianThe Senior Payroll Technician performs highly specialized payroll functions to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the Orange County Department of Education and partner school districts. This position prepares and audits payroll transactions, interprets complex payroll laws and collective bargaining agreements, researches and resolves payroll issues, maintains payroll records, and provides technical guidance to employees and district staff. The Senior Payroll Technician also collaborates with internal departments and external agencies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting continuousRequirements / QualificationsEducation and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
