Project Procurement Manager 1

The Opportunity As the Project Procurement Manager you will perform assigned procurement activities for proposals or projects, leading others with procurement responsibilities while requiring minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Purchases assigned equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects following established policies and procedures. Assists in project setup of procurement related activities. Executes and manages the procurement process on assigned contracts including bid list preparation, solicitation of quotes, and evaluating, negotiating and awarding of contracts. Leads negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts. Collaborates to resolve complex claims or other contract issues. Ensures contract documents are issued correctly and on schedule. Assists with the development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules (man-hours, cost, procurement milestone durations). Assists with the establishment and/or monitoring of procurement goals. Monitors project procurement activities and reports status. May develop, create and lead presentations to internal and external clients and joint venture partners. May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for equipment, material, or labor to support estimating/proposal efforts for a project or projects. May also lead and coordinate the entire budgetary pricing effort on a project or projects. Files appropriate documents and follows filing rules. Acts in capacity of a "lead person". Does not have management responsibility for the professionals to whom they provide work direction. Possible positions receiving direction: Procurement Representative Procurement Coordinator Field Procurement Expediter Preferred Qualifications BA or BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred. Years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree. Proficient analytics. Creation and interpretation. Strong attention to detail. Proficient budget development and management. Strong communication – written and oral. Strong computer skills – Databases and MS Office. Strong organizational skills. Strong problem solving. Proficient process and technical writing. Proficient project process management. Proficient schedule and planning understanding. Basic workflow and team management. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience. Hybridor flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments. Travel may be required. Salary Plan PCR: Procurement Job Grade 016 In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $109,461.00 – $163,889.00.
