Dark wood furnishings, leather lounge chairs, contemporary lighting and gorgeous bathrooms complete the newly renovated guest rooms, which also come with stunning city or river views.What you will have an opportunity to do:The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all hotel employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies. This role works closely with Human Resources and department managers to maintain accurate time and attendance records, resolve payroll discrepancies, and support employees with pay-related inquiries.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess bi-weekly payroll for all hotel staff, including hourly, tipped, salaried, and seasonal employeesReview and verify timekeeping records from the time and attendance system, ensuring accuracy of hours worked, overtime, tips, and gratuitiesEnsure compliance with wage and hour laws, including minimum wage, tip credit regulations, and overtime rules specific to the hospitality industryCalculate and process tip pooling, service charges, and gratuity distributions in accordance with property policy and legal requirementsReconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies with department managers and HRPrepare and distribute payroll reports for management, including labor cost analysis by departmentRespond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping issuesMaintain accurate and confidential payroll records in compliance with company retention policiesAssist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and auditsStay current on changes to payroll tax laws and hospitality-specific wage regulationsSupport internal and external audits related to payroll and labor costsQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent required2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in hospitality, hotel, or multi-location environmentWorking knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, including tip credit and service charge regulationsProficiency with payroll/HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, UKG/Kronos, Paylocity)Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiencyHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionPreferred:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related fieldExperience with hotel-specific systems (e.g., time and attendance integrated with PMS)Experience in a union or multi-property environmentCore CompetenciesAccuracy and attention to detailTime management and ability to meet strict deadlinesStrong verbal and written communicationProblem-solving and discrepancy resolutionCustomer service orientation (internal employee support)Discretion and confidentialityWhat are we looking for?Compensation:$0 - $0Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
