About This Role The OR RN Surgery position at Kaiser Permanente involves providing nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to established care standards and collaborating with the healthcare team. This role is ideal for experienced circulating nurses looking to make a significant impact in surgical services. Highlights Pay: $44 - $81/hour Location: Seattle, WA Facility: Kaiser Permanente Schedule: Full Time, 4-10's What You'll Do Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients. Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs. Assist patients and families in developing health care goals as part of the individualized plan of care. Provide nursing interventions safely and competently, anticipating changes in patient status. Demonstrate understanding of the physiological and psychological effects of normal aging. Collaborate and communicate with healthcare team members in planning and implementing care. Assess patient lifestyle risk factors and integrate health promotion into care. Provide teaching and counseling congruent with patients' learning needs and medical plans. Participate in continued education programs and staff orientation activities. Assure quality of care through the development and evaluation of nursing standards.
