ANALYST II

The Special Projects Section, Grants Management Unit, has an immediate opening for a full-time Analyst II at the California Highway Patrol headquarters campus. Applications at the Analyst I level will be considered for this position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and preparing grant agreements and other grant-related documents.
• Maintaining an accounting of all obligated grant project funds.
• Reviewing quarterly and final reports for required format, content, grant objective accomplishment, and fiscal considerations.
• Monitoring grant progress for any changes in circumstances affecting time, fiscal resources, equipment, personnel, or objective grant elements.
• Initiating, developing, implementing, and evaluating proposals, procedures, and other operational issues in relation to the Department's grants program.

Working Conditions
The normal working hours are 0800-1700 hours, Monday through Friday, in office. Ability to sit, type, rotate, and work at a computer workstation to complete work assignments up to 8 hours per day. Travel may be required throughout the State of California.
