This is a 12-month limited term position and may be extended to a maximum of 24-months and/or may become permanent based on operational needs.
The California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD), Centralized Complaint & Information Bureau (CCIB) is currently accepting applications for one Limited-Term Analyst II. The Analyst II performs complex technical analytical work related to complaint intake and other contacts regarding Home Care Organizations and Community Care Licensing facilities that provide care and supervision to children, adults, and seniors who reside or spend a portion of their time in out-of-home care facilities. The Analyst II will be the subject matter expert and will perform duties at the highest skill level. The CCIB Analyst II will act as a lead and assist with mentoring and training new staff.

Position may be located in any of the following offices within CCLD: Chico, El Segundo, Fresno, Santa Barbara (Goleta), Monterey Park, Sacramento, Oakland, Orange, Palmdale, Riverside, Santa Rosa, San Bruno, San Jose, San Diego, or Woodland Hills. The work location will be chosen during the appoint stage. This position may be eligible for Hybrid work. In-person attendance is required based on the operational needs of the position and in accordance with Executive Order N-22-25 the Statewide Hybrid Telework Policy, Government Code section 14200, and any applicable department telework requirements. The successful candidate must reside in California at the time of appointment. Proof of California residency may be required .
