Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ familial dynamics and personal histories to identify relationship challenges and emotional distress.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based approaches that specifically address their unique concerns.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize both individual and relational well-being, helping clients achieve realistic therapeutic goals.

• Provide psychoeducation regarding healthy communication strategies and coping mechanisms that clients can utilize in their daily lives.

• Document session notes and client progress in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.

• Prepare expert testimony and comprehensive reports for legal cases when required, collaborating effectively with legal professionals to ensure accurate representations of clients' challenges.

• Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with the latest research in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Center Light Counseling Center serves a diverse array of clients, including families, couples, and individuals facing mental health and relational issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and our team emphasizes cultural awareness in our therapeutic approach, ensuring that we meet each person where they are in their healing journey. This position will involve working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and family conflicts, with a holistic focus on improving overall family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current LMFT license in Massachusetts, having fulfilled state requirements, including passing a recognized examination and completing supervised clinical hours.

• A minimum of one year of supervised clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating a capacity to manage complex family dynamics effectively.

• Demonstrated proficiency in providing comprehensive therapy services to individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
