This position is fully remote, enabling you to balance work-life commitments while working from the comfort of your home. Your work will primarily involve interactions with students, school staff, and parents, creating a rich collaborative atmosphere that fosters communication and support. You'll leverage telehealth technology to conduct assessments and counseling sessions, ensuring that our services remain accessible and effective.

• Plan, coordinate, and implement individualized support packages tailored to student needs, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns.

• Conduct in-depth assessments through interviews and interactions to determine the current emotional and social state of students, identifying their strengths and areas needing support.

• Create measurable, achievable goals for each case, developing treatment plans that cater specifically to the individual's needs and circumstances.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of each client, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
\n
• Provide counseling, psychoeducation, and resources to students and their families during one-on-one sessions or workshops to help them navigate emotional challenges.
\n
• Document client interactions and progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records for both clinical and reporting purposes.
\n
• Participate in case conferences and be prepared to present information and progress in legal settings when necessary.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, counselors, and administrative staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to student well-being.

• Connect clients with community resources and services to bolster recovery and support sustainability of mental wellness.

Your primary focus will be on students within school settings, many of whom may be facing challenges related to mental health, family dynamics, or academic pressures. This role will involve working with diverse populations, requiring sensitivity and understanding towards varying backgrounds and experiences. Your goal is to empower students to thrive both personally and academically, contributing positively to their school environment.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology, or Sociology is required; a Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience working in social work, preferably in school settings or with youth populations.
\n
• Strong knowledge of social theories and best practices related to mental health and well-being.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

• Resilience and the capability to assess and respond effectively to crises.

• Willingness to submit to background checks to ensure the safety and security of our clients.

• Prior experience in a school-based mental health role, with familiarity in working with children and adolescents.

• Background in implementing therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral techniques or mindfulness practices.

• Experience in documenting casework and progress using electronic health record systems.
