In this critical role, you will provide remote therapy and counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families in a school-based setting, supporting their emotional and mental well-being. Work Environment\n

This position is designed to be entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with options for flexible scheduling, including possibilities for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet diverse needs.

• Conduct thorough client interviews to collect and analyze relevant social, personal, environmental, and health information.
\n
• Evaluate clients to identify and address mental health issues within your expertise, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored programs and activities to address clients' social and emotional needs effectively.
\n
• Facilitate interventions for cognitive, affective, and behavioral health issues, including crisis resolutions and referrals to community resources.
\n
• Foster strong therapeutic relationships characterized by mutual respect, acceptance, and trust with clients.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services, making necessary adjustments to enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions in line with established protocols, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

• Manage a caseload ensuring timely follow-ups and documentation reflecting the scope of services provided.
\n
• Assist with additional duties as assigned, contributing actively to team collaboration and patient care initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position serves a diverse population, focusing primarily on children and families within a school setting. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is a must.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in the field of mental health or social work.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing counseling services focusing on mental health issues such as behavioral problems, mood disorders, substance abuse, family dynamics, and grief counseling.

• Previous experience in school-based or community mental health settings is strongly preferred.
