What We’re Looking For:

• Valid State Special Education Teacher Certification
• Middle School or K–12 endorsement strongly preferred
• Experience supporting students in both inclusion and self-contained settings
• Solid background in teaching Science and Social Studies at the middle school level
• Proficient in implementing IEP accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring
• Collaborative spirit to work alongside general education teachers and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging instruction in Science and Social Studies tailored for middle school learners receiving special education services
• Deliver lessons in both inclusive and self-contained classrooms, adapting materials for individualized needs
• Implement students’ IEPs with fidelity, including accommodations, modifications, and progress data collection
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP reviews, and communicate regularly with staff and families
• Ensure a supportive and structured learning environment to maximize student engagement and growth
