Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct crisis interventions and triage effectively by assessing situations, employing de-escalation techniques, and coordinating with the public mental health crisis response team when necessary.

• Collaborate and communicate with other team members to implement follow-up assessment and prevention planning post-crisis, building relationships with external agencies to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records in compliance with contractual and billing requirements, ensuring submission of detailed encounter forms weekly to uphold organizational standards.

• Engage in weekly clinical team meetings to foster communication and integrate approaches to primary and mental health care, enhancing treatment coordination and improving patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with patients from underprivileged backgrounds, including individuals facing barriers to accessing mental health care. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing tailored, culturally competent services that address the unique challenges faced by these populations. Utilizing evidence-based practices, you will create individualized treatment plans focused on recovery from depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in counseling or a related field, accompanied by an active license in California as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
