POSITION: Lead Secretary- Early Childhood Education

SUMMARY- The Early Childhood Education Lead Secretary assists with the implementation of effective and efficient office management systems while completing clerical requests for the Executive Director of Early Childhood Education or designee. Lead Secretary will provide registrar processes for all attendance, data, grade reporting, scheduling, registering, and withdrawing of students in the ECE program. The Lead Secretary will act as health assistant under the training and support from the District Registered Nurse while carrying out Colorado Department of Human Services requirements for child care licensing, early childhood, district policies and procedures in meeting health needs of students.


SALARY RANGE: Per Classified Salary Schedule plus prorated School District Comprehensive Benefits Package. Nine-month position (follows the school calendar with a daily schedule to be determined by the principal and special education staff). Salary range is $20.86-$37.72 per hour, depending on education and experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

• Training or Experience Preferred in Infinite Campus and other student management systems
• Ability to manage and work with families and children.
• Computer and technology skills preferred.
• Able to work as a team member in an active school environment
• Must be able to communicate on the telephone and in person.
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Immunization Certificate
• Group Lead Qualified
