• Monday through Friday scheduling between 0500-1930 rotating start time based on schedule.

• No weekends no holidays no call

• This position is for main Day Surgery and will be responsible for Pre and Post procedure. Previous related Day Surgery Surgical or Procedural will be highly preferred.

Where You Will Work:

The Same Day Surgery department located on the 2nd floor OR surgery services area serves surgical patients pre and post operatively with 23 flexible beds. The department operates varying shifts from early morning to evening with employees working 4 out of 6 observed holidays annually and no weekend rotations. Scheduling is self-managed planned 4 to 8 weeks ahead including assigned rotating Friday evenings and holidays. Orientation lasts 6-8 weeks for RNs. The culture is fast-paced with strong teamwork and supportive leadership emphasizing engagement and recognition.

WereLooking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or within 6 months of hire

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or within 6 months of hire.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe therapeutic care in accordance with established standards policies and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice clinical decision making compassion and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
