DME Billing Specialist

Parsippany, NJ (Hybrid 2-3 Days in Office) Join EBI - Drive Accuracy in Healthcare Revenue Cycle We are looking for an experienced DME Billing Specialist to manage the full billing cycle for medical equipment. This role is ideal for someone who understands insurance billing, thrives on accuracy and takes ownership of claims from submissions through reimbursement. What you will do: Submit and manage insurance claims (HCFA-1500 / invoice billing) Monitor billing grids and timely filing requirements Resolve claim rejections and resubmit corrected claims Handle secondary billing and follow‑ups Ensure clean, compliant claims with proper documentation Support daily reporting and maintain organized records What we are looking for: 3+ years of medical billing experience (DME preferred) Strong knowledge of ICD‑10 coding and insurance billing Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with clearinghouses (eg., Waystar) a plus Why Apply?
