Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering the Detox Center, taking into account their histories, presenting concerns, and risk factors, to create an effective treatment plan.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies in collaboration with clients, tailoring interventions to address substance use issues while also focusing on mental health stability.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches, to address various mental health and addiction-related challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage personal insight, emotional regulation, and the development of coping strategies among clients.

• Work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance the comprehensive care process, ensuring all aspects of a client's health are prioritized.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing effective de-escalation techniques and assessing for the need for higher-level care as warranted.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources, ensuring they remain empowered throughout the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily work with clients experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Compensation and Benefits\n
