Investment Banking VP

Company Summary We are currently partnered with a leading, highly specialized investment bank focused on the insurance and wealth management sectors. The firm provides end-to-end M&A advisory and capital raising services, working closely with founder‑led and private equity‑backed businesses across the middle market. The platform is differentiated by its deep industry expertise, proprietary market intelligence, and highly consultative approach; often partnering with clients well in advance of a transaction. This drives strong deal flow, premium valuations, and longstanding client relationships. Responsibilities Lead M&A and financial consulting projects Manage buy and sell side M&A advisory engagements (financial analysis, modeling, due diligence, deal structuring/negotiations) Interact with clients and develop strategy/implementation of client deliverables while maintaining client relationships to ensure successful project execution Seek and coordinate new business development activities Direct and coach junior team members Stay abreast of industry changes and trends and incorporate best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 6-10 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or financial services Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits Exposure to a high-volume, active M&A pipeline within a consolidating sector Opportunity to work directly with senior bankers and industry‑leading clients Strong reputation and relationships across top financial sponsors and strategic acquirers Collaborative, team-oriented environment with clear runway for progression #J-18808-Ljbffr Selby Jennings
