Sr. Manager Solution Prep

Senior Manager leading the Solution Preparation organization at Amgen's AR5 biomanufacturing facility. Oversees 50+ staff across four shifts, ensuring safe and compliant 24/7 operations while driving manufacturing excellence and strategic process improvements in biopharmaceutical production.
Responsibilities
- Lead Solution Preparation organization to achieve 24/7 production goals and regulatory compliance
- Oversee four Front-Line Managers and align team with operational principles and site objectives
- Champion safety and quality culture through daily floor presence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive process transformation, digital adoption, and operational readiness for manufacturing innovations
- Mentor staff, foster cross-training, and build adaptable organization aligned with network strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years manufacturing and operations experience, or equivalent combination
- Minimum 2 years direct people management or team leadership experience
- Demonstrated managerial experience in regulated manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GMP regulations in biotechnology manufacturing
- Proficiency in change management, team building, and innovation
- Cross-functional work experience in manufacturing operations
