Project Manager - Wealth Management Technology

Role Description

NECG is a rapidly scaling wealth management firm operating across four business units — NECG, NewEdge Wealth, NewEdge Advisors, and NewEdge Securities. Our small Development & Delivery team builds the technology behind that growth, at a pace where what you contribute is visible, consequential, and shipped fast.

We're hiring a Project Manager who is ready for their next step. You've built strong PM fundamentals and you're ready for more scope, more autonomy, and more direct work with leadership than your current role allows. Here, PMs aren't running a defined playbook — you'll help shape how delivery works while leading the initiatives that matter most.

What You'll Do

• Lead initiatives end-to-end across multiple BUs and competing priorities
• Partner with Business Analysts, Product, and Architecture on scope, and with Development and QA through execution
• Own delivery plans, dependencies, risks, and decision traceability
• Identify what's at risk before it slips and surface blockers with proposed paths forward, not just status updates
• Navigate competing priorities across business units and ensure each BU gets the visibility it needs without duplicating effort
• Maintain the structure of how work is tracked and reported across Jira, Confluence, and related tools
• Help shape how delivery practices evolve at NECG — what adds value versus what's process for its own sake

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of project management experience in technology or software delivery
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and related delivery tooling — central to how we operate
• Ability to run delivery across agile, traditional, and hybrid models, with clear judgment on when each is appropriate
• Strong communication with engineers, BAs, and senior business leaders alike, without losing technical fidelity or executive credibility
• Judgment in ambiguity and operational discipline that turns ambiguity into structure without making structure the point
• A perspective shaped by what you've seen work and what you've seen fail elsewhere
• Real interest in AI tooling and how it changes delivery work — we're early in our investment and need people who want to be part of that

What Sets You Apart

• Wealth management, RIA, or other regulated financial services experience
• Generative AI tool familiarity (e.g., Claude)
• Experience with portfolio coordination, resource planning, or delivery reporting
• Experience supporting product ownership models that don't rely on a dedicated PM-per-product structure
• A track record of improving delivery practices, not just executing within them

Salary Range

$90,000 - $100,000, based on experience
