Accounting Clerk

About The Position We are looking for a full time Accounting Clerk who will work with a talented and accomplished team. The ideal candidate will preferably hold an associate degree and have 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable. Additionally, they must be proficient working on a computer and utilizing Microsoft Office. Additionally, they must be proficient working on a computer and utilizing Microsoft Office. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payment requests. Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and other payment methods. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records. Respond to vendor and branch inquiries regarding payments and account status. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Prepare reports and documentation as required by management. Support other accounting and administrative functions as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is an asset. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes hourly rate from $28.40 to $34.75 per hour .
